Job Title: Chemistry Tutor Job Type: Part-time Job Location: U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT Schedule: Sunday through Thursday from 7PM to 10PM

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable a Chemistry Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various academic subjects and the ability to develop engaging curriculum tailored to meet the needs of students preparing for standardized tests. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to work effectively with students of all ages, including children and adults.

What you’d do

Develop and implement effective lesson plans and curriculum for test preparation with a focus on Chemistry I. Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions focused on improving students' understanding of key concepts in Chemistry. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure comprehension and retention of material. Manage classroom dynamics effectively, fostering a positive learning environment. Engage with students to build confidence and motivation in their academic pursuits.
