Role overview
Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, a successful Packager prepares product for shipment both manually and via electric powered industrial equipment with lifting devices, such as motorized pallet jack and/or reach truck. Packagers prepare and packages customer product in a safe and efficient manner while following the instruction of the Line Lead and Quality Lead. Will follow corporate and site specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. In addition, the candidate will observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
The Packager’s primary purpose is to perform production work such as packaging materials and verifying items for accuracy before packing. Success in this position is measured by maintaining and/or surpassing the standard OPH (orders per hour) by client and exceeding efficiency goals to satisfy client needs and demands.

Compensation: $17.20 plus $1.50 shift differential for hours worked
