What matters to us
- High school diploma or G.E.D required.
- Associate’s degree in related field preferred.
- Registered Behavior Tech certification, or ability to obtain certificate within three months of employment.
- Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in the care of individuals with multiple physical handicaps or challenging behaviors, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of above requirements.
Essential Functions
Support our individuals direct care needs including, but not limited to:
- Assess individual behavioral programming needs as instructed by Behavior Analyst.
- Implement appropriate programs for service recipients as part of the individual’s support plan.
- Conduct staff training in regard to behavior service policies, procedures, techniques, and programs and ongoing fidelity of implementation of programs.
- Serve as a consultant to all departments regarding behavior techniques and strategies.
- Serve as a member of the IDT and attend annuals and other special team meetings to provide input. Provide weekly information to the behavioral team as it relates to service recipients behavior.
